Data Deletion Request

You can delete your MacroScout account and all data associated with it at any time. We process every request manually within 7 days.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open MacroScout on your phone.
2. Go to the Profile tab (bottom right).
3. Scroll down to Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion in the alert.

Your account and all data are permanently removed within 24 hours.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email us at support@macroscout.app with:

• The email address you used to sign up
• The subject line "Delete my account"

We will confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 7 days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your profile (name, email, height, weight, date of birth, goals)
• All meal logs (food_logs)
• Weight history (weight_logs)
• Activity logs (runs, exercises)
• Water intake logs
• AI chat history with NutriBot
• Nutrition goals and personalized plan
• Onboarding answers
• Push notification token
• Subscription identifier (your active subscription itself is managed by the App Store / Google Play — cancel there to stop billing)

What is retained

• Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics (no longer linked to you)
• Tax / payment records required by law (Apple / Google handle these, not us)
